Bodhi Edie (Warman, SK) became the man to finally break Jordan Szoke's undefeated streak in Pro Superbike when he nabbed the win during round 2 of the five-round Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship at Grand Bend Motorplex (Grand Bend, ON). Series veteran Frank Trombino (Etobicoke, ON) made his return to the National Series a triumphant one with the win in the Liqui Moly Pro Sport Bike support round.

In Saturday's initial qualifying sessions at the World Superbike/AMA BigM Weekend at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah, Darren James was again the top Canadian qualifier after a provisional 7th place standing in the AMA XR1200 class with a best time just under 2:14. Ben Young's best time of 2:03.5 in the first GoPro Daytona Sportbike qualifying session was seven seconds behind the leader, while Canadian-born Californian Javelin Broderick was well off the 1:59 performance by Hayden Gillim in the Motorcycle-Superstore.com Supersport session. Josh Hayes qualified on the pole in National Guard Superbike.
