The FIM, Dorna & MSMA have announced that a new framework for the Superbike Technical Rules has been obtained after many discussions between the parties involved. The new Superbike rules will be applied progressively, starting in 2014, in 3 stages.

Phillip Island (Australia), Friday 22 February 2013 A close battled Qualifying 1 put an end to the first World Superbike day of 2013. The session was held under the clear skies of Phillip Island, with perfect temperatures and average winds blowing inland. Michel Fabrizio (Red Devils Roma Aprilia), after being the fastest rider of Free Practice 1, topped once again the timesheets thanks to a 1’31.317 lap-time, ahead of works Aprilia rider Eugene Laverty.

Nürburgring Race Two: Davies Take Debut Win, McCormick Out In Smoke

Reigning World Supersport support series champ Chaz Davies gave his ParkinGO MTC Racing Aprilia RSV4 squad a great debut Superbike win in race two of  the eni Superbike World Championship round at the Nürburgring in Germany. Part of the lead dispute throughout 20 laps of the 5.137 km long German ‘ring, Davies was the only front runner to hold his pace, pulling way for an eventual three second victory.
