@HondaPowersprts •@honda-mc •MARKHAM, ON (June 9, 2016) – Honda is happy to announce that the first two-wheel announcement of the 2017 model year is headlined by the popular Grom.

The Grom gets an overall redesign this year giving it a sharper, more aggressive look.

“We’re very excited with the new look of the Grom, it is such a fun bike and the new design makes it look even more fun,” said James Marchand, Assistant Vice President, Motorcycle, ATV & Power Equipment at Honda Canada. “Since its 2014 introduction, this fun-loving motorcycle has been a big hit in a little package, singlehandedly establishing a thriving market for small-wheeled, small-displacement, big-personality road bikes that lend themselves to personalization. Now the Grom’s styling is even more exciting without losing any of the original’s appeal.”
Honda also announces a number of returning models for 2017, including the about town PCX150 scooter and a good number of the CRF off-road family.

Grom
It may be part mini bike but it’s all motorcycle. The Grom has been a resounding success from the start. With a package that’s manageable yet comfortable for full-sized adults. With full-size features like a sturdy steel frame, a 31mm inverted fork, mono-shock rear suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and a 125cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine. The Grom provides riding fun to riders of all ages.
For 2017 the Grom gets an edgier look, thanks to an integrated fuel tank and side panels, along with a modern, stacked LED headlight layout. Add a new flip-key, sportier handlebar, under-slung exhaust, upswept tail unit and a higher passenger seat. The 2017 Grom is as fun as ever, but with a much more daring new look.
