Szoke Joins BikerTV

Seven-time Canadian Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke is going to have a busy summer ahead. In addition to a presumably full season of racing the Canadian Superbike series this summer, Szoke has recently joined Canadian-produced Biker TV to host a weekly Canadian Motorcycle Race Report. Through the weekly series, Szoke is expected to bring weekly race reports to viewers including updates on motocross, trials, superbike, flat-track and drag racing.

Canadian Broderick heads to AMA with Yamaha

The 2012 road racing season will see another Canadian road racer in the AMA Road Racing series. Sudbury, Ontario native Javelin Broderick will be competing in the AMA Pro Supersport class aboard a Yamaha R6, with support from Yamaha Motor Corporation USA.

BMW Steals the Show: K 1600 GT Voted “International Bike of the Year”

The BMW K 1600 GT has recently been voted “International Bike of the Year (IBOTY)” for 2011 by a jury of over 25 industry publications. The award, which was announced this week at the Brussels Motor Show, comes as no surprise to Inside Motorcycles following an exclusive meeting we had with Hendrik von Kuenheim in November, where stated that the K 1600 GT was one of BMW’s best selling motorcycles, and the German manufacturer having trouble keeping them in stock.

Parts Canada Backs McCormick in Europe

Parts Canada announced today their support for 2011 Canadian Superbike Champion Brett McCormick as he heads to Europe on the Effenbert Liberty Racing squad in 2012. The "Kid", who will the competing in the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup aboard the all new Ducati 1199 Panigale, will be one of the first Canadian road racers in years to compete as a regular on the European circuit.
