CMDRA Announces Revised 2014 Schedule

The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association is releasing details of its updated 2014 schedule. The six race series, which includes events in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, required revision following the unexpected announcement of the suspension of operations at one of the venues included in the original schedule.

Full Bore Marketing signs on as CMDRA Super Street Sponsor

The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association is pleased to welcome Full Bore Marketing as the 2014 sponsor of the Super Street Class. As part of this new agreement, Full Bore will be awarding a Shinko rear tire to the winner of each Super Street event during the 2014 season. In addition, the 2014 CMDRA Super Street Champion will receive an Arai helmet.

The 2013 CMDRA Photo of the Year Contest, sponsored by Inside Motorcycles, is in the voting stages right now! Between October 1-14, visitors to the CMDRA Facebook page can vote on their favourite photo. The winning photo will be featured in the pages of Inside Motorcycles and the photographer will receive four VIP passes for the 2014 CMDRA season. The top five vote getters will each receive a price package including subscriptions to Inside Motorcycles.

Barkley on top of the podium in Fort St. John!

Ethan Barkley arrived at the Northern Lights Raceway in second place in the 2013 CMDRA Championship points race. The bike has been working well but a string of bad luck and technical glitches has hampered this year’s results. Ethan was hopeful that his luck was about to turn around.

CMDRA Finale set for Sept. 7-8

The stage is set for two days of intense action and entertainment as the Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association heads to Edmonton's Castrol Raceway for the 2013 Season Finals on September 7th and 8th. With numerous championships, including the Screamin' Eagle Top Fuel and V-Rod Destroyer classes yet to be determined, this all or nothing race promises to be the highlight of the season and an event that race fans will not want to miss.

Miles, Barkley among winners in Fort St. John

Al Miles of Edmonton, Alberta and his FFR Racing Team arrived at Fort St. John, BC's Northern Lights Raceway for the CMDRA Northern Nationals Presented by Prince George Harley Davidson and Mighty Peace Harley Davidson focused not only on building on a substantial points lead in the Screamin' Eagle Pro Dragster class, but also on maintaining their undefeated record in the 2013 Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association campaign.

CMDRA rocks Medicine Hat

Round 5 of the Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association's 2013 season saw Calgary's Rob Aston arrive in Medicine Hat with a renewed confidence following a breakthrough performance in the previous round. Aston took advantage of near perfect track conditions and quickly established himself as the front runner, qualifying number one in the Pro Street division with a personal best time of 7.57 seconds. Aston went on to defeat Ken Froese in the Pro Street final and also took 1st place in the Super Street class.
