Quebec GP: Hurst triomphe au grand prix du Québec de la VRRA

L’ontarien Chris Hurst a connu tout un weekend lors de la présentation de la dernière manche du championnat de la VRRA à l’autodrome St-Eustache, ce dernier a gagné la finale de P3M  face a Tim Whyte et Mick Vaclavik pour ainsi se mériter le championnat pour cette classe et il a aussi obtenu deux autres podiums et une quatrième place pour remporter aussi les championnats de P4F3, P4F2 à bord de sa Honda Hawk 650 préparée par Andrew Cuttler et celui de Vintage GPM à bord de sa sa Yamaha TZ350.

VRRA Vintage Festival Recap

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to be a part of the VRRA Vintage Festival held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (Mosport) outside of Bowmanville, ON. The weather really could not have been better, with comfortable temperatures, plenty of sunshine and no rain! Vintage bikes were everywhere and the action was great.

VRRA Round 2: The Highs and Lows of Vintage Racing

On one of the hottest weekends of the year so far, the enthusiastic racers and fans of the Vintage Road Racing Association gathered at Shannonville Motorsports Park for the annual Summer Classic. Finn Motorsports starts Mini Road Racing season with highs and lows

On June 8-9, Round 1 of the Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA) sanctioned Canadian National Mini Roadracing Association’s National Championship Series hosted by the Prairie Sport Riders Association (PSRA) took place at 3 Flags Motorsports Park Lumsden, SK. With over 100 race class entries representing mini road racing clubs from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, the Finn Motorsports riders were keen to match their skills against racers from across Western Canada.

ARL High Performance Riding Academy Kicks Off 2013 Season!

The Atlantic Roadracing League (ARL) is excited to announce its continued partnerships for the 2013 season. This past weekend saw the first High Performance Riding Academy take place on Saturday and Sunday brought to you by Honda Canada in conjunction with Pro Cycle. This marks the third year in which Honda Canada has supported the High Performance Riding Academy in association with Pro Cycle, which brings students from all over the Atlantic Provinces to the Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia for the two day event.

Race City's bitter closure - by Patrick Lambie

On October 2nd, Brad Gavey and BGPR Schools hosted a track day at Race City Motorsports Park in Calgary, Alberta. This event was significant because it marked the end of 25 years of motorcycles at Race City.

Following a protracted and often public dispute with its landlord (the City of Calgary), the track will be permanently closed at the end of the 2011 season in order that seven acres of the 150-acre facility can be used to accommodate the city’s ring road project. The balance of the land has been designated to accommodate anticipated expansion requirements of nearby city land fill operations.
