AMA Pro Racing today announced its basic 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing schedule. Of the 11 races on the schedule, nine are confirmed with an April/May and August/September race to be announced at a later date.

The series will again feature the AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBIke and AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport classes. The AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series will be renamed the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series, but the spec class is still expected to be the exclusive domain of XR1200 models.
