The young Saskatchewan rider entered the Chilliwack, BC double round at the Greg Moore Raceway with a commanding points lead. Jonathan was very excited to be returning to one of his favourite tracks in the series and his enthusiasm was evident during both races. Able to get the hole shot during each start, Jonathan was able to maintain a commanding lead over the other riders and capture his 4th & 5th consecutive wins this season.
Finn Motorsports rider Matthew Finn demonstrated his determination throughout the weekend, continuing to show improvement in his riding. Matthew rode hard all weekend and was able to show consistancy by finish second in both races. Matthew is currently second place in points heading into the final National round Labour Day weekend in Martensville, SK just north of Saskatoon.
The Finn Motorsports team heads into the 7th and final round of the Canadian National Mini Roadracing season at Martensville Raceway with Jonathan & Matthew first and second in points respectively. The Martensville track has proven to be one of the most technical tracks in the national series. Riders such as Brett McCormick (World Superbike) and Bodhi Edie (Canadian Superbike) began their apprenticeships in mini roadracing at the Martensville Raceway.
