December 5, 2013- C&C Racing of New Brunswick is hitting the road and joining the national circuit in 2014. Caleb Noiles, past ARL Amateur Superbike and Sport Bike Champion, and 2012 Pro Sport Bike Champion, has a new sponsor, a new bike, and he's ready to take on the rest of Canada in the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship.

Capstan Hauling Ltd. of Grand Prairie, Alberta signed on to sponsor C&C Racing through the 2014 season.

"I love racing and am delighted to be able to do it competitively," Noiles said. "The support from Capstan Hauling Ltd. has helped make this season possible."

The owners of Capstan Hauling, Richard and Smith Wells, are family friends who have been following Noiles' racing career since he was an amateur. Richard, being a motorcycle enthusiast himself, decided to jump on board for 2014, a way of giving back to his native Maritime region.

"We are proud to be associated with C & C Racing Team. Caleb and his race team are a talented group," Richard Wells said in a release. "We're sure Caleb and his team will make us proud."

C&C Racing is also bringing on board veteran racer Gene McKay as a technical resource and to help with team management.

"He has the knowledge and back ground to run our team," Noiles explained. "He is also a valuable assist for bike set-up. He worked with me a little this season and we were shaving half seconds off my time each session."

Another big change for the team in 2014 is a switch from Kawasaki to Honda. Caleb Noiles will be riding a 2013 Honda CBR600RR in the 2014 season – a bike he acquired from Jodi Christie.

"I needed a competitive bike for the 2014 season, and the Honda was the best built bike."

With this bike, he's going to take on the Pro Sport Bike class and get some valuable experience in Pro Superbike before considering a leap to a bigger bike.

"We are going to concentrate on 600 and run all the superbike practices and race the shorter tracks," he said of his plans.

As a bonus, his local Honda dealership, Toys for Big Boys, decided to jump on board to help.

Noiles anticipates the biggest challenge in this new endeavor will be learning all of the new tracks.

"I have no experience on any other track in Canada but AMP, so the track knowledge will be the biggest thing for me," he explained.

He's planning on overcoming that with the help of McKay, track maps, and a lot of practice. For now, Noiles and his team are just looking forward to fulfilling a dream by taking on CSBK in 2014.
