Halifax, NS – The Atlantic Roadracing League (ARL) has continued its tradition with Honda Canada and Pro Cycle this year as they help support the High Performance Riding Academies. For 2013 ARL has found some additional partners who are supporting the support not only by their assistance with helping riders compete, but also partnering with ARL to sponsor Classes as well as different aspects of the events taking place at Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie.

Pro Cycle is continuing its long standing support by sponsoring the action packed Amateur Superbike class for the 2013 season. The Amateur field has grown to be one of the largest grids and early estimates are showing additional growth for this exciting class this year.

"It's hard to explain how much Pro Cycle has done for the motorcycle road racing community throughout their 30 years in business, their history of support goes back to the creation of Atlantic Motorport park itself. We are honored to continue our partnership this year as they sponsor the Amateur Superbike Class as well as their help with the High Performance Riding Academies" Andrew Murray President of ARL said, when asked about Pro Cycle's continued support for 2013.

New partnerships for this year include the addition of Shore Cycle located in Martins Point Nova Scotia. Shore Cycle has a rich history in road racing in Atlantic Canada and the National Superbike Championship, they will be sponsoring the developing Lightweight Supersport Class for 2013. The Lightweight Supersport class is an exciting class of racing which has grown significantly over the past few years. This class was started to allow younger riders to get involved in road racing as early as 13 years of age, however the class quickly grew to include some veteran racers with some amazingly close races.

"I am extremely happy to see the support from Shore Cycle this season, they have always supported many riders throughout their history in Atlantic Canada both at the Regional and National level and we are excited to see them back at the track sponsoring a class. They will be taking advantage of this sponsorship to provide bike setup expertise throughout the year which can be a great benefit to the participants" Andrew Murray said when making the announcement.

ARL has also come together with some of the car racing organizations, specifically the Atlantic Formula Racing Association (AFRA) and Nova Communications to bring high speed internet with public wi-fi to all our events which will enable the organizations to transmit constant live timing feeds via the internet throughout the weekend's events.

Atlantic Roadracing League Inc. is the promoter of all Atlantic motorcycle road racing, riding academies, and track days at Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. For information on these and other activities find us on Facebook and
