The Trombino Racing team has announced its plans to compete in the 2013 Mopar Canadian Pro Superbike Championship. Team racer Frank Trombino, a two-time national champion and multi-time RACE Superseries Pro champion, will pilot an Aprilia RSV4. This will represent the first time Aprilia has competed in CSBK competition.

Also returning to the team, volunteering his time, is team mechanic and tuner James Collins. Collins spent the last two years with Trombino in their effort to finish 3rd and 2nd in the 2011 and 2012 Supersport class between youngsters Jodi Christie and Raphael Archambault. Gianni Aceto from G suspension will also be returning to the team after a successful year with Archambault in 2012.

Trombino Racing is competing to raise awareness and funds for Testicular Cancer, the most prevalent cancer in males aged 15-29. Collins was diagnosed with the disease just a few weeks ago. Information pamphlets and info on how to checkā€™em will be available at the Trombino Racing paddock. Also a donation box to collect donations will be available. Tax receipts are available for donations over $20 to Testicular Cancer Canada. For more information on testicular cancer visit www.testicularcancercanada.ca.

Trombino Racing thanks its sponsors who are helping reach its racing and fundraising goals: MWR race filters, G Suspension, GB race covers, Vortex, Corsa Mechanica, Track Side Cuts, Performance Drink, Mupo Suspension, Brake Tech rotors, Blue Streak Racing, Rapid Bike, Pirelli and Acme Slate.
