Toronto, Ontario; November 4, 2014 — Canadian Kawasaki Motors is pumping some new adrenaline into the sport-touring motorcycle world for 2015. The company announced today they're releasing a re-vamped model of the Concours 14 ABS, which is described as a "Cross Country Supersport bike", in a bold Candy Lime Green and Metallic Spark Black.

It's a sport-touring bike that also offers unprecedented supersport performance – and is based on the same Kawasaki's top of the line Ninja ZX-14 model. With 1,352cc of power and an incredibly smooth power band, the Concours 14 ABS allows riders to enjoy exhilarating acceleration, plus comfort and touring performance, all combined with the ultimate in rider support technology.

For a sport-touring model, the Concours 14 ABS offers amazingly sporty handling that ratchets up the excitement level - creating a truly unique riding experience. If you want to feel the rush while touring winding roads, this is the bike for you. Top class performance, guaranteed.

In addition to being great fun to ride, the new model is loaded with Rider Support Technology, including

one-mode KTRC - Kawasaki's original traction control system. This ensures smooth, natural operation and even works on long stretches of bad road, while some rival systems are only effective on short slippery patches.

New for 2015 is the addition of a directional vent to the windscreen. The reduced low-pressure effect in the cockpit keeps the rider from being pulled forward.

It also improves flow around the top of the helmet to reduce buffeting and gives the rider the choice of two open positions and one closed - to suit weather and speed.

The Concours 14's rider section uses a low-rebound cushion for increased comfort on long rides.

The cover material used on the accessory touring seat resists heat gain – its first use in the motorcycle industry. Thanks to this material, the seat is significantly cooler after sitting out in the sun than a normal seat.

The new model's enhanced touring performance is also boosted by numerous other features, including stepless adjustable grip heaters that are fitted standard, with a switch located close to the rider for easy access.

Make no mistake; the Concours 14 ABS is the real deal – a bike that's big on supersport performance, comfort and touring performance, and rider support technology. To ride it – is to love it!
