Canadian National Sportsmen's Shows sent out a press release today, detailing in brief the fact that the Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council has terminated their partnership with the Sportsmen's shows effective immediately. The announcement comes in the wake of last week's press release from the MMIC which unveiled their own for-profit company that would take over the organization's show management. In full, here is the press release from the Canadian National Sportsmen's Shows.

To our valued Clients of the Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver Motorcycle Shows:

Over the past 24 years Canadian National Sportsmen's Shows has proudly produced Motorcycle Shows for the Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council. We have been notified that effective immediately, the MMIC have elected to produce all the Motorcycle Shows; including the Montreal, Quebec City and Moncton Motorcycle / ATV Shows in house under a new for-profit company that they have formed.

We wish them well in their new venture.
