The 2012 road racing season will see another Canadian road racer in the AMA Road Racing series. Sudbury, Ontario native Javelin Broderick will be competing in the AMA Pro Supersport class aboard a Yamaha R6, with support from Yamaha Motor Corporation USA.

The 16-year old who now resides in Ojai, California is moving up to the AMA championship after winning the WERA West Expert B Superbike Championship in 2011. In just three years of running the WERA series, the teenager has amassed four championships.

According to Broderick, "Yamaha has proven time and again how serious they are about racing and now we have proof positive that they are willing to assist those that support the brand."
