Brantford, ON- Jordan Szoke competed in his second motorcycling event since his disastrous fall during the Sparrow Lake Observed Trials event in August of this season. Multiple fractures of his right thumb left him facing months of rehabilitation after surgery was performed to piece his appendage back together.

On Sunday, August 10th, Jordan Szoke, defending Canadian Superbike Champion and the defending Canadian National Observed Trials Champion, suffered multiple fractures of his right thumb. Resulting in surgery to repair the extensive damage, ending his bid for both of his defending championship titles. Szoke's season came to a screeching halt.

The Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame has announced its inductees to be honoured at the 2014 Induction Ceremony & Banquet, held in Edmonton on September 27. The ceremony has been expanded into a 'Motorcycle Memories Weekend' this year, a celebration that, according to the CMHOF, "will preserve motorcycle history and showcase the sport of motorcycling in Edmonton."
