Multi-time Canadian Motorcycle Association national flat track champion and Number 1 plate holder Don Taylor has secured himself a ride for the upcoming AMA Grand National flat track season.
Taylor, who spent most of his time in Canada last year contesting both dirt track and road racing events, will be riding for AMA Hall of Famer Bill Werner. Taylor will be aboard a twin that is based on a Kawasaki 650 squeezed into a J&M frame.

Taking part in an event at the Perani arena in Flint, Michigan, Lawrence was riding a machine borrowed from AMA Grand National champion Jared Mees.

Doug Lawrence is one of the top expert flat trackers in Canada, and if he could ever attend all of the races here there’s a good chance the Number One plate would be his.
