Ducati introduces Scrambler models to North America at AIMExpo
As attendees made their way onto the AIMExpo floor on Thursday, one of the first exhibitors to greet them was Ducati, featuring a can’t-miss bright yellow double-decker storage container complete with all four newly released Scrambler motorcycles. The iconic Italian brand used AIMExpo as the platform for the North American debut of the Icon, Urban Enduro, Full Throttle and Classic Scrambler livery and it served as one of the most talked about introductions of the day. Yamaha introduces new R3, WR250F and more at AIMExpo
Targeting a hole in its sport/supersport lineup, Yamaha yesterday introduced the brand new R3 at the AIMExpo in Orlando. Noting internal stats that revealed a shift away from its large and middleweight supersport machines and a growing niche in the small displacement category, Yamaha unveiled the R3, expected in Canadian markets by spring 2015. On October 5, a group of 12 people went on a ‘Ride to Eat’ to Red Deer, AB, a one-way distance of 155 km from Edmonton along Highway 2. Since a big part of a Ride to Eat is the riding, most of us put on close to 500 km on what turned out to be a gorgeous sunny day with a high of 19. One of the regular crew bowed out of this little excursion, stating it was getting a little late in the year. Read more
