200 Female Riders to Decsend on Kananaskis, AB for 'Women Riding into the Future' conference and ride
"Women Riding into the Future" is the theme of a weekend of motorcycle riding, workshops, shopping and socializing that 200 female riders will participate in at the Stoney Nakoda Casino and Resort in Kananaskis, 45 minutes west of Calgary on the weekend of August 16 through 18. The event will also include a trade show, show and shine, plus there will be manufacturers there with motorcycles to test ride. Read more

Jordan Szoke chalks up his first win of the season
SHANNONVILLE, ON - Jordan Szoke shook down his new BMWS1000RR's at the RACE Round One regional event this weekend held at the Shannonville Motorsport 1.5 mile "Pro Track" located just east of Belleville Ontario Canada. Jordan walked off not only with some solid laps on his new 2013 equipment, but also with a win in the Pro Superbike class. Read more

Pedrosa wins dramatic French Grand Prix
Dani Pedrosa became the first rider to win two races in the 2013 MotoGP™ season, coming from sixth position on the grid in mixed conditions at Le Mans on Sunday. He now leads the championship from Repsol Honda Team partner Marc Marquez, who fought to the podium after a poor start as Britain’s Cal Crutchlow finished second. Read more

Marquez takes second career pole in France
Marc Marquez collected a second MotoGP™ pole position for this weekend’s Monster Energy Grand Prix de France. The championship leader beat current title holder Jorge Lorenzo by just three hundredths of a second on Saturday as Andrea Dovizioso celebrated his first front row for Ducati Team. Crutchlow responds to speculation on future
MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow has refused to speculate on his future, while the Le Mans paddock at this weekend’s French Grand Prix is rife with talk that the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider could be replaced in the team next year. Pedrosa fastest in French GP practice
Fresh from his win in the Spanish Grand Prix, Dani Pedrosa topped both Friday practice sessions at Le Mans ahead of the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France MotoGP World Championship event. The Repsol Honda Team rider led teammate Marc Marquez and Yamaha Factory Racing’s Valentino Rossi as less than three tenths of a second covered the top five riders. Read more

Trevitt's Blog: Ducati's MotoGP Lab Bike
Although the media spotlight does not shine as blindingly on the Ducati MotoGP effort now that Valentino Rossi has left the team, development continues and the company is working hard to improve its results in the premier Grand Prix class. Part of that development involves the use of a "laboratory bike" with test riders Michele Pirro and Franco Battaini evaluating a constant stream of updates. Former FTR CRT rider Pirro raced the lab bike at the recent Jerez event, finishing 11th, and will compete in other races this year. Read more

The Atlantic Roadracing League (ARL) is excited to announce its continued partnerships for the 2013 season.
